week 9

From this week's reading I thought the connection to Foucault's author functions and genre functions were in some kind connection. it was good to connect the two because the definitely complement each other. For example, I like Foucault's last function is authors need to be multiple, which from the reading felt they described genre functions as a way to characterize themselves with their writing style. I feel like being able to write in different genre is a good connection between the two because for me reading combining genre is more entertaining.
